Facts about myself


Did you ever try to write about yourself in the form of facts list? It turns out that it’s not such an easy exercise. Here is such a list about me. I tried to be frank.

Do not smoke

Almost don’t drink alcohol. And, unfortunately, almost don’t have a taste for beer

Like computers/computer science, engaged in computers since the age of 11

Like music and sound

Have perfect ear

Like guitar playing and digital photography

Wear spectacles

Not silly, probably intelligent

Realist, pragmatic

Quick to learn

Universal multipurpose open mind

Know thinking, I do like thinking and do it frequently

Reasonable, not light-minded

Sometimes a bit cynic

Very attentive (even in trifles), but sometimes forgetful

Exacting to myself; exacting to my relatives and intimates

Sometimes music or movie can make me cry

Know to value myself; however people say I underestimate myself

I know to formulate my thoughts well, both verbally and in black and white

Always behave politely (unfortunately, not always think the same way) and attentively

Have never beaten anybody; was beaten once; politeness is the strongest weapon;

I believe some people understand only manual power

Respect people that really like their work, people that live by their work;

There aren’t many people that I’m not indifferent to

Appreciate friendship

There are not many people I can think of my friends

I try to be always responsive and sympathetic

Treason has no excuse

There aren’t many things I hate, here are some of them: cattle, ignorance, narrow-mindedness

I do my best to treat people in the way I want people to treat me

Sadly, I think that people consist out of two categories: some were born to evolve through science, others are bound to sell fish

People in the world are not the same; unfortunately, part of them is subhuman.

I think idiots of people who are involved in professional football, same about boxing and hockey; I feel deep apathy toward professional sport competitions

Don’t like people used to be with mouth opened

What I like and what I dislike

Love my family

Like order (including order in mind)

Like to work smarter, not harder

Like reading, but unfortunately read rarely because of my passions and hobbies

Like to sing and have a not bad voice; unfortunately, I didn’t study singing

Like guitar playing; unfortunately I didn’t get any musical education

Like travels and trips

Like comfort and coziness

Like food and like to eat; conservative in food; like meat and do not eat fish and seafood

Like landscape paintings, but know almost nothing about painting

Like coolness, autumn, rain, like maple leafs

Like animals, like big dogs

Like sleeping; on the other hand I know that sleeping wastes time;

Like nature, fresh air, walking

Like civilization, but only in its best manifestations; don’t like tourism in the wild

Like badminton, swimming pool, tennis and basketball

Like good music (the genre doesn’t matter); unfortunately I do not like classical music;

Like solving applied problems; can’t work on anything that I won’t see its results

Don’t like routine

Don’t very like cooking

Don’t understand and don’t accept women who smoke

Don’t like alcohol as I don’t like alcohol inebriation; therefore I almost do not drink alcohol

Don’t like extreme sports and stupid risks

Don’t like people (as a race), but respect personality

Don’t like when people mix several languages in their speech – this is an indication of lack of knowledge in languages and lack of self-esteem

Don’t like ties, suits and other official stuff. They are to equalize people. At the same time I dislike flashy and too eccentric clothes

Don’t like life changes, and unfortunately, changes scare me sometimes

Don’t like to blab on the phone

Technology and science

I have algorithmical mindset

I deal with computers since the age of 11; computers allowed me to find myself

I think I understand computers and technologies well

I think math is the base of all bases, however I don’t like mathematics as a science in itself

I almost can’t imagine myself without Internet and e-mail

I met very good and interesting people thanks to the Internet

I do not accept the humanities as the primary education

Thoughts aloud

Some people say I speak long when I explain something

I’ve never “growing up”, I felt adult as long as I remember myself

It is absolutely right that I’m not the best and I’m not ideal; there are many people much smarter and ore talented than me

Non-professional sport contributes to good health

Politics are dirty; everyone who is involved in politics someday will have to give up his own or someone else’s principles

I believe that it is a great mistake to work for the army, state or government; I don’t see myself working for them

I think the “homeland” concept is erroneous; I think homeland is the place where you feel good, feel at home, where your friends are

Patriotism is forgery; country/state does not matter; each person individually – that is what matters

Cultured, educated people are the same in all countries; nationality and color doesn’t matter

I’m not pious; nevertheless I think that there is something above

There is a barrier that cannot be over passed (neither by natural sciences, nor by philosophy); maybe this barrier falls when we die

Sometimes I think about death; I believe I’m not afraid of death

I hope I’ll success to leave something after me

Granted – it’s not easy to write so many facts about myself
